Spectrum app won’t connect to home internet

I keep getting the message we’re sorry, something didn’t work quite right. Please check your internet connection and try again. IFE-1004.

 

i have reinstalled the app multiple times and it still does not work.

Just to make sure, you ARE using the Spectrum internet modem registered  on your Spectrum TV account, right?  HINT: Yes is the only answer to make things work.

Yes. It used to work and then stopped working.

Did anything on your account change? Moved? Are you using a VPN?

Have you rebooted your modem (and router if you are using a separate one)?

i have two iPhone Xr's.  One phone the TV app works and the other it doesn't .  I get the IVE-004 error.  We are both connected to the same home network.  Of course the one that doesn't work is my wife, who want to use the app.

Your problem may be different than the OPs issue. I would encourage you to post your own thread. If you are having problems with the Spectrum TV application I would encourage you to post under iOS section. If you are having problems with other network apps like HBOgo or A&E etc you would want to post in this category.
