Problems with Sreaming Service

Starting two days ago I have been unable to log on with my ROKU sticks and the service on my phone and tablet has a number of missing channels with the following message:

"Connecr to your Spectrum Inernet for More

You are currently connected to TP-Link_5G

Due to programming restrictions, some channels are unavailable. For full access, connect to your Spectrum Internet Service"

TP-Link_5G is my personal router which is connected to the Spectrum modem.  I had no problem with this connection for several years until two days ago and, if I am not mistaken, one is permitted to use a router of choice. I called the Spectrum Customer Service, but the agent was unable to help and said that he will pass the complaint up.  This was two days ago, with no change, so I am hopeing that I can receive help from this Forum.

You don’t mention what you have done so far so I will start with the basics. Unplug your modem, router and cable boxes.  Wait 5 minutes. Plug in your cable boxes and let them boot up. Plug in your modem and let it boot up. Plug in your router and let it boot up. Then restart Roku. If this does not fix the problem you might have signal issues or other problems. Somewhere on the forum there is a FAQ explaining how to check your signal levels. If those are bad time to set up a service visit.

Good morning, we have recently seen reports of this issue, specifically that you are 

not on your home network. 

 

In this case, if the basic troubleshooting steps do not resolve the issue we would ask 

that you contact support directly. There are a few steps with the system we can try to 

alleviate the issue, if those do not work we are able to escalate to the specialists.
