Ohio - not working here either! Same as everyone else "must be in home network to use..." Have followed all instructions, reset, hard resets, blah, blah, blah.... Why can't TWC just admit they have a problem and are working on it? Maybe they are not working on it!
We were watching tv most of the day yesterday using Roku stick, and then after 6pm, service wasn't available. We login with username and password, and see this error message"The program you have requested is only available when you are accessing this video service in your home, using a cable modem authorized by Time Warner Cable" We have an authorized cable modem. Doesn't work on BOTH of our roku sticks. Did something change over the Christmas holiday?
WORKING SOLUTION: I reset our cable modem, and uninstalled the TWC TV app, and resinstalled on our roku, and everything works.
No change here.
I can reboot and reinstall until the cows come home. The app still exits to the Roku home screen the instant after it finishes loading. 3.2, build 0 is still the latest version of the TWC app.
I tried everything suggested in the forums(rebooting, uninstalling, changing passwords, rebooting modem etc. etc.) Nothing helped.
What DID help was doing a factory reset on the ROKU. This re-installed all the aps, I had to setup all my apps again but it worked and all is well in the household again.
SO.. If all else fail... do a Factory Reset onthe Roku. It is under the Settings, System, Advanced System menu option on Roku3.
