I bought NON-rooted device and I have the same error message.

Thanks.  Android TV is currently not supported on the Spectrum TV App.  You would need to use a supported device, such as a ROKU to connect with the app.

Did you check my screenshot? Specialist from Spectrum told me I have to use NON-rooted device. I bought NON-rooted device!

Sorry for any confusion.  DFE-1009 is a generic error code that includes all unsupported devices, including rooted devices.  Unfortunately, Android TV is not supported at this time.  There are no current plans to support Android TV, but we will pass along your feedback for future consideration.
