No Moto DCX-3220e, may have to switch to DTV.

I bought a new 4k TV and Spectrum doesn't carry the Moto 3220e, only the Arris 3200. The 3200 doesn't have 60 fps. It's bad enough that Spectrum doesn't give a heck about 4k, but Comcast has the 3220e which does make a diffrence.

Can't believe Spectrum is still living in the past.

I'm 99% sure that box is technically capable of 1080p/60fps via HDMI. I know the newer Worldboxes (101, 201, 110, 210) are.

Are you using a newer HDMI cable that is 2.0 compliant?

All my HDMI cables are 2.0. My STB is the 3200 which was made a decade ago. The 3220e, which does have 1080p/60fps, is used by Spectrum but apparently not in my area (LA).

Specifically Culver City, which is close to me.

So my STB is almost useless on my 4K TV.

I don't know what the Worldboxes are, never heard of them. I don't use DVR, the only HD box available is the one i'm using the Arris 3200.

The 3220e does show on the Spectrum website, but not in LA.

I may have no choice but to go back to DTV or even Dish.

Actually i did some checking and my cable box does have the newer version, the DCX-3200 (3).

My PC and 4k TV are connected.  So, on my TV, cable braodcasts in 1080i (like all Sat/Cable broadcasts), but with my Sony processor it converts the 1080i to 1080p or very near.

My PC is showing 1080p/60fps, 1440, 2160 on HDR10.

So i have 2 separate settings, one for the TV and the other for my PC.

I lucked out, didn't realize my cable box had 2 versions....DCX-3200-2 (which can't do 1080p/60fps), and the verion i have.....DCX-3200-3 which does.
