New XS Max. Cannot get visual voicemail working. On the voicemail tab I just see a “Call voicemail” button. Support had me go through many steps including resetting network settings. They gave up and said to call Apple. As I predicted, Apple said it’s 100% a provider issue. Anyone else having voicemail problems? Support is abysmal.
Looking at the Apple Forums, the issue appears to be that the device is not provisioned for Visual Voicemail. You would need to contact Spectrum Mobile support directly for assistance. They can be reached at 1-833-224-6603.
It’s fixed now. It required resetting my voicemail account on the network end. It took 30 seconds but only after days of chasing people down. The support people really don’t want you to talk directly with Tier 3 support and will do everything they can to run interference.
