pixulating

Been doing work on house (getting new front door installed) so I've been DVR'ing stuff to time shift and watch with my better half. The rocordings are unwatchable because of pixulating and tileing. I've looked at the modem logs and they are full of SYNC Timing failures.

Have a Motorloa SBG6580 (bridged) , a Linksys WRT1900ACS connections are Cat6 cables, RG6 coax.

Re: pixulating

Pixilation is often caused by a loose connection, or bad connector. Have you checked all of your connections?

Re: pixulating

Went through all three connections .1st at grounding block, 2nd at splitter(Genasys II 2 way), 3rd at box (Samsung SMT-3090) . All are 1/4 turn past finger tight with bright copper conductors.

Re: pixulating

don't reset the modem, paste the signal page again, lets see if correcteds are high, if so, there's a bad connection outside somewhere and you'll need twc out.
