Video quits. HD Content Protection??

Things used to work fine watching TV on Spectrum.
Now, after about 10 seconds of watching a channel, I see a message box pop up:
"Alert
HDMI Error
The HD Content Protection of your display has been compromised. Please use the YPbPr outputs for your HD connection."

on my Samsung 3D HDTV, and then the video stops.

Rebooting the Arris DCX3200-M box doesn't help.

Have you tried unplugging and plugging back in the HDMI cable or trying  a new HDMI cable?

Re: Video quits. HD Content Protection??

The warning message is telling you that you can't use HDMI between the receiver and your video display because the program content is copy-protected to reduce pirating.  You need to use a component (YPbPr) cable kit or connect to a standard set-top converter, not through the DVR.

Cleaning the 2 end connectors of the Amazon Basics HDMI Cable fixed the problem.
