Picture and audio freezes

Video on alot of channels freezes multiple times daily. You have to switch channels, then go back to the channel you were watching.  Talking to people ,this is happening to alot of household here in clarksburg, wv.  Is it the ancient cable boxes they are giving us here?  This also happens while recording shows.

The most likely culprits are damaged coax, loose connectors, water-logged pedestals, etc.  Something you can do is ensure everything that you have access to is in good working order, all connections are tight and corrosion-free, and that you don't have a family of hungry squirrels around.  Outside of that you need a tech visit to inspect everything and check your signals.

Hello,

This is almost always a signal, line, or wiring issue and never a box issue.  You will need to contact Spectrum for a signal and drop line test.  Avoid rebooting any boxes, modems, or routers for six hours prior to your service call.  Reboots will set the signal error codes back to zero and you don't want that.

A swapped box will never solve bad signals or poor wiring,  We need to set up a service call to check your drop line, and your tap.  Bad weather, animal chews, corrosion due to age, can force a need for these connections to be updated.  Schedule that service call.
