I had the pixelation, audio and video, I had the sound outages. I had when the TV would not recognize the cable box input. Average of one problem per viewing day. These problems were usually quickly fixed by changing the channel then changing it back or pausing the play and then restarting. More stubborn problems were fixed by powering on/off the TV and/or cable box. The most stubborn problems had attempted fixes by rebooting the cable box, which was frustrating, as it took 15 minutes or so.
My assumption was this was on Time Warner's end as the problems typically would manifest on specific channels and I had never read information to the contrary.
Imagine my suprise when I bought a new TV a month ago (Samsung 4K) and now the problems have disappeared. The TV is in the same location with the same cables. I draw no conclusions but I am sharing my experience.
