Error code dge - 1001

I have been trying to watch TV on my new Samsung tablet and I keep getting error code dge 1001. I have rebooted my wifi box and my tablet and have uninstalled and reinstalled the spectrum tv app and I've rebooted my tablet several times. I'm getting extremely frustrated. Originally had a different tablet and took it back to the store because I could not get this app to work (it kept showing the same error code). I have called Spectrum I have called Amazon I have gone to the Geek Squad at Best Buy. now I am home with my new tablet and it's happening again. What do I need to do?

You are getting this error directly when the app loads, during login, while attempting

Live TV or On Demand? Are you able to load and use the app on different devices?
