is ? IPV6 enabled

so after the new year my modem receivced a config update that change the MDD IP mode to V6 only 

still no IP6V addresses from my router I tried but dhcpv6s and radvd the modem is not broadcasting anybody have a clue whats going on is this a WIP for the rochester/batavia area ?

which modem is it?

TWC has an issue with 6141's with version 8 hardware.

 

Does it work without a router?

Is your router set to autodetect wan settings and did you reset it? (do so at your own risk....)

they consider the 6121 and other 4x4 bonded modems obsolete as well as all single ch docsis 2 modems... good luck getting any support from them....

 bypass your router...

see if ipv6 works

 The IPv6 dns is in KS and is lagging in the 10-30 second range whereas the IPv4 is a lot closer, either in Columbus Oh or Albany NY, and responds a lot faster.

 Do a tracert to 209.18.47.61

 

 then do one to your IPv6 DNS

a full factory reset of them modem seems to have done it ...
