I do not have a hostname and icmp is not tested on ipv6

I  guess i have to allow ipv6 icmp packets on the router through the firewall and have to give my pc a hostname

Several networking expert Forum members recommend that you use only IPv4 on your home LAN.  At this time Spectrum uses only IPv4 for home user connections and won't give you an IPv6 public address.
