After speaking with TWC technical support a couple of days ago, they noted that there was an acknowledged nationwide issue between TWC internet and Apple Airport wifi routers. The tech support person noted that it was a high priority effort to be solved.
It's now 3 days late and router still can't connect to internet-anyone else having this problem?

Good morning.
This issue is with how the Apple routers are handling iPV6 addresses.
You would just need to disable iPv6 in your router.
You can find more information about that here:
https://support.apple.com/guide/aputility/modify-ipv6-settings-aprt2706/mac
You would want to use the edit button to do that once you are logged in.

I use a Time Capsule and an Express without any issues. Yes, if the problem you have is related to an IPv6 issue, disabling it should fix it (after rebooting everything).
