Viewing DVR Menu

When viewing certain screens in the DVR menu, why does it only stay on-screen for a short time.  For example,,,,,,,,,,while looking at info under Series Mgr., without any input from the remote for a short time, (seems like only seconds) does the menu disappear causing re-entry to that menu?   Hope this makes sense.  I know there is a setting for "Banner Duration" but this should have no effect on Menus.  Is there a setting somewhere that i'm missing?

Hi Geezer,

Are you talking about ODN 9? What box do you have?  Best guess could be software design.  I would definitely keep your box, because the new World Boxes with Spectrum Guide have some issues.

You are correct, "Banner Duration" only controls the Channel Banner when changing channels.

Yes Satch, ODN.  It's just a quirk that is annoying at times. I have a 9865 with no intention of getting rid of it after experiencing the ancient 2-tuner i had.  I can live with a few quirks just to be fortunate enough to have the 9865.
