I connected my iPhone 8 to my TV via a lightning to HDMI connector. Everything is mirrored except my Spectrum TV app and the TCM app (which I use through Spectrum). Does Spectrum block these apps for mirroring? Is there any way to email them to ask about this?

In doing a quick Google search I see many instances of people complaining about the TCM app not allowing screen mirroring when watching movies. This must be some sort of digital rights management setup they have implemented.
As far as the Spectrum TV app mirroring...that would infringe on Roku's territory of being the exclusive streaming device in it's class able to stream the app to a tv (Apple TV support is coming soon).
