Missing several channels 8,14, 19,20,21, etc

I have one line coming in (I am in a condo, so I assume from a main line)

I have a SV-4GT splitter, going to a TG1672 Modem/Telephone, and 2 8742HDC Cisco Settops

I noticed I was missing several channels upstairs (I don't know since when as I don't watch them often I guess), but I got them downstairs.

There were PoE filters on the main line in, the modem line, but not the downstairs settop.

I played around with removing the PoE filters, and changing positions on the splitter. I could get the problem to come and go on the downstairs unit, but they never appear on the upstairs unit.

I also noticed when power cycling the settops they seemed to take much longer than normal to boot, maybe signal errors?

So I suspect

1. The signal strength of the main line

2. And/or the splitter itself

3. Or the PoE filters effects.

Here is my network stats from the modem

Any ideas of what I can try

Re: Missing several channels 8,14, 19,20,21, etc

Update:

Replaced the splitter with a Motorola Commercial grade powered amplifier/splitter.

Rebooted both settops.

Picked up Channel 8 after the rescan. Still nothing on 14, 19, 20, 21

You should not be removing POE filters as they are required for Wholehouse DVR's to work properly . Robot Sad

You need to call TWC to get the levels corrected as your modem level is out of spec as well as whatevers wrong with the Cable TV
