Just purchased a prefab home. The coax connections on one side of the house can provide the TV signal to the TV cable box and TV works. On the other side of the house only the internet modem will work on the coax ports. The TV boxes cannot get a signal from the coax ports. Any idea what is going on here?
What happens when you connect the cable box? Do you get an error on screen?
It may be the signal strength is not sufficient for that particular outlet.
What sort of splitter are you using? If you can post a picture of the label on that it may help.
Are you getting the correct speeds via the Internet connection or having any trouble with connectivity?

Thanks for the response.
When plugged into the side of the house where the Internet works, the boxes do not show connected in my Spectrum login account and refreshing the status option doesn't show them connected. No errors on the screen.
When plugged into the side of the house where TV works, ( prefab double wide trailer type home ), they show connected on the Spectrum website and TV works.
I am not adding any spitters so it's whatever cable infrastructure that is already in place.
Trace the coax routing from the main line demarc to each device.
From the main line is there a splitter to route coax to each side of the house?
How is your account set up? Do you have tv and internet on the same Spectrum account or is tv or internet on a separate account from a trailer park?
