DVR appears to be recording but it’s not

There seems to be no rhyme or reason why this happens ... I can’t pause the show either ... what’s happening? It happens maybe once a week or so — Do I just need a new box?

It's probably a coaxial issue, somethings corroded, loose or there's too many splitters or open ports.

could be a failing HD as well.

Needs TWC/Spectrum out.

Hi,

You need a tech out to check your signals and drop line.  Bad signals and a bad drop line will not be solved by a swapped box.  Don't reset any equipment for six hours prior to your appointment.  This resets the signal error codes to zero, and you don't want that.

If it's not a signal or drop line issue, the box will likely need to be replaced.
