Nomorobo's 608-371-6666 doesn't show NOMO in its caller ID?

It shows its location source (JANESVILLE, WI) as shown in my http://screenshot.cz/R8/R8IIN/nomorobo.gif screen capture. https://nomorobo.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/212802186-Getting-calls-from-608-371-6666- says it is supposed to show NOMO. For those using Spectrum/TWC's Nomorobo feature, are you seeing this as well?

This link explains how that number works:

https://nomorobo.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/212802186-Getting-calls-from-608-371-6666-

It's a protected plan that is supposed to help legitimate calls from humans getting through.  Why the (NOMO) indictor does not show, may or may not be a Spectrum issue.  I don't know if this is a new Nomorrobo feature or not.

I would say Tweet to Nomorobo and ask them about this:

https://twitter.com/nomorobo?lang=en

I already mentioned that https://nomorobo.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/212802186-Getting-calls-from-608-371-6666- link in my original post. Smiley Tongue As for Nomorobo's support, they didn't seem to understand the issue hence why I am posting here. I will try its Twitter. Thanks.

FYI from its support: "... Nomorobo is supposed to come up as the caller ID, but since this is a loophole that our developers are trying to fix it is possible that sometimes things go differently..."

Re: Nomorobo's 608-371-6666 doesn't show NOMO in its caller ID?

I got a better, but slow answer via Twitter:

"Hi, Thanks for reaching out. Sorry for the delay here. That is our Number. Unfortunately, Caller ID is not a uniform system and it's not updated properly across the country. We have everything registered properly with our own phone company, but for some reason some people still see the old listing. It's embarrassing and we're sorry about it."

They should at least update their online article to mention that this might not show up correctly. Smiley Sad
