Don't reset the modem, copy and paste the modems signal level and error log pages.. If you're having upstream tx levels jump more than 3dB or go over +50 dBmv, there is a serious problem and the modem is going to reset trying to fix it.

Upstream is higher than I'd like to see. Are there splitters in line you can pull out?

How many pieces of equipment do you have? Such as Settop box or DTA.

1 dta and the modem thats it

btw i got a  question how come cable still uses the same old splitters they did when the channels were analog and didnt start using the new 5-2300mhz splitters now that almost all the channels are digital ?

Re: i need some help can a tech from here check my modem and see whats up

a 5-1000 mHz splitter is fine, the 5-1500 or 2300's are needed for WHdvr's for MOCA to work.

You're going to need TWC out, that upstream is on the high side and probably what's causing the T3/4 errors and resets.

Re: i need some help can a tech from here check my modem and see whats up

You really only need around 755mHz unless you are running MOCA devices. Which you aren't.  The DTA doesn't even support 2way so TX levels aren't an issue there. Quality of the splitter could be a factor.

Are you in apartments or singal family home?
Could have a bad drop and if your drop is coming right off of an amp with a high value tap TX levels will fluctuate( with a bad drop ) and knock your modem offline. Add 1 or 2 splitters to the system and you're bound to have TX issues.

its a singal family home

are they gonna charge me to fix this problem ?
