Re: Wired and Wireless Internet Disconnections!

amezcuaesteban,

  • I pinged your router and it appears it is dropping packets if it detects a "flood" or what it thinks is a flood.
  • post model of zoom modem/router combo.  ( I am guessing 5352??)
  • if your firewall setup screen looks like one below, set yours the same as what is shown, eg., "low" firewall protection and other 3 boxed Unchecked. click APPLY.

Re: Wired and Wireless Internet Disconnections!

Looks like you have a 4G lte phone that's trashing the 705 mHz channel.

Also in the router, turn off IP Flood Detection

Re: Wired and Wireless Internet Disconnections!

Alright IP Flood Detection has never been enabled, just double checked. How could a phone be messing with the router? Is there anyway to still keep the phone connected without it interefering? Thank you

Re: Wired and Wireless Internet Disconnections!

4G LTE phones transmit on 705 mHz channels and trash that one when cable co's use it. I'll bet it's AT&T. You need to make sure all the coax connectors are shiny and tight and keep your 4G away from the modem

But it's part of your problem, not all of it.
