Arris Surfboard SB6190

Only getting 80-93mbps on my 300mbps plan.  What could be slowing my  Upstream Bonded Channels?

@ +51dBmv, is on the high side, but what's more important is the DS channels, please post

them and the error/event logs. Don't reset the modem, need to see history.

Modem must be on no splitters if you're internet only or the first 2 way if you have cable TV...

Looks like there's a 4 way in line right now if not more

So basically your saying there has to be a splitter somewhere before my cable wire reaches my modem?  I have cable and tv but was under the impression that each had it's on line starting at my outside box.  But I'll check to see if it's split somwhere.

There is a splitter in my attic.  It comes up from the crawl space cable access box, into a 2 way splitter twc installed in my attic then one wire goes to my other bedroom for cable and the other comes to my cable modem in another.   What can I do to fix this?  I thought about just running the main wire going to my attic straight to my modem but it's not long enough.  Then i though about taking it downstairs and hooking up to my main cable wire, but I didn't know how to get regular cable to my tv if I hooked modem up 1st.  there isn't a cable out.  can i go from my cable out cable box line?

Are all connectors a tad more than finger tight?

Are you sure there's not another splitter outside?

If not, TWC needs to fix the levels out at the pole, maybe there's not enough ports and they split off a tap to feed a neighbor or the actual tap is waterlogged or bad.

Can you get a photo of it?

If not, call TWC out.

I replaced the splitter up stairs with just a straight female to female connector straight to my modem and my numbers on the upstream came down to 46 but I'm still slow.  TWC is coming wednesday, but i was hoping to resolve it.  I hate asking to take of work just to fix cable.
