Slow performance & intermittent outages with SB6141

Hi everyone,

I am having slow speeds and intermittent outages with my SB6141 modem. The outages happen every couple days and occastionally require manual power cycling. No apparent correlation with time of day or heavy use periods. Build time is Jul 22 2016 08:13:57. I live in zip code 27527. My logs are below. Based on some other similar threads I've seen on here, I'm thinking this is possibly ingress on channels 30 and 31? I'm pretty out of my depth on this topic, so any troubleshooting suggestions or topics to discuss with tech support would be much appreciated. Thanks in advance!

Downstream power levels are on the high side of good but not critical. Upstream power levels, however,  are right on the edge.  My own upstream power levels are about the same as yours but remain stable.  I would first check all the connections and coax from the modem back as far as you have access for any loose connectors and any signs of damage like water or hungry squirrels.

 

Is there an amp? Splitters or unused outlets without end terminators? Do you have a cell booster, baby monitor, cordless home phone, etc?
