The Maxx upgrade just hit my area (Lexington, KY) last night. I saw at least two posts on dslreports.com of people in my neigborhood pushing 300Mbps download speeds. I had an old SB6121 and noticed my speed jumped from 30Mbps to around 65Mbps. I purchased a new SB6183 today, but I'm still not seeing the download speed I'm supposed to be getting. I should be getting 200Mbps down and 20Mbps up. I'm hitting my upload speed without any issue. So, I'm assuming either TWC is having issues or that my modem wasn't provisioned properly. Can anyone provide any help? Any suggestions are welcome. Thanks...

Thanks for the reply. Wired connection. I always avoid wireless when testing. I'm going to take an old laptop home from work and hook it directly into the modem tonight. I want to make sure to eliminate any potential issues with the router. I don't like hooking my personal machines directory to the modem. I've seen posts on reddit and dslreports of people mentioning great speeds on Wednesday night, but Thursday there were mentions of speed flucations in Lexington. It may be that TWC has botched the upgrade. Who knows. It would be nice if there was someone with information on the status of the upgrade or whether there are issues.
Did a lot of testing on Friday night switching out wiring, switches, etc. I think the problem is my Asus RT-N66U router which is 4 years old. When I bypass the router I'm getting 200/20 easily. Tried several speed tests and all were great. When I put the router back into play my speeds drop to 100/20. My router has a gigabit WAN port, but I guess for whatever reason something else in the router (i.e. processor) is bogging it down. From my research, I saw others getting better download speeds with this router, but who knows whether they were running custom firmware or other tweaks. I'm going to head to Best Buy today and pick up a new one. I'll respond back later with the results.
