No Ranging Response Received - T3 Time-out

Hi,

Lately our internet has been cutting out or slowing down more frequently. Called a customer service rep yesterday who said everything looks good on their end, but when she sent a packet of test data she only received about half of what she was expecting back, and suggested a problem with the modem (Surfboard 6141). This morning I searched for the specific time-out errors the modem is giving me and came across a few threads with similar issues, and it seems like the "solution" was always to have a TWC tech come out. Is that the case here, or is it an issue with the modem itself? I have a new one coming today that I can test.

Same modem and same issue. Started yesterday as well.

The error message "No Ranging Response received" points to a problem that could be in your modem or  the cable backbone network, specifically in the automatic modem level setting process.  You both need to make an appointment for a visit by a Spectrum home service tech.
