Re: My modem is disconnecting CONSTANTLY, Im running out of options!

Looks like you have broadcast TV signal ingress on 531,537 and 615 mHz,,, (ch's 24, 25, 38) Where are you located? I can look it up by zip code to verify.

See if there's a loose coax connector, however this is usually a bad line outside and will need twc out there to reoair/ replace it or the connectors.

Re: My modem is disconnecting CONSTANTLY, Im running out of options!

24 & 38 are probable culprits, however the ingress from them isn't causing the T3's and T4's... TWC needs to come out and replace connectors for a start.

Re: My modem is disconnecting CONSTANTLY, Im running out of options!

SaraNicole0406,

I think you have 2 issues. poor connection and ipv6 enabled.

Poor connection:

  • poor cabling and/or connectors. this may/likely require twc to come out and rewire.
  • there are some things you can do yourself if you wish.
  • see checklist in below.
  • post deviations from list.
  • post any questions you have about what to do or if an item is not understood.
  • poor cabling allows external RF to interfere with signals to/from twc and your modem.
  • here is list. Cable modem and wiring checklist
  • let us know what you do.

ipv6 disable
