McKinney Connection drops and lots of uncorrectables over a few day period

I'd like to see what you think of my Downstream power levels, SNR and my Uncorrectables.  As well as these error message that are happening in the router log  Its a netgear C7000-100NAS  This seems to be a constant thing that just started, I have 4 brand new modem and its a consistant prbolemm I've had a Supervisor come out with 3 sr techs,  They are missing something.... I just dont know   please see below  Also i have a PPE zero loss zero gain amp.  I'd like to know your thought as i've read many of your post and you seem to know quite a bit.

I have no HOT/Open outlets and no open ports on my PPC zero loss zero gain amp

Its seems like around the Critical T3 time out is about the same time my modem gets kicked off line. (log below)

Re: McKinney Connection drops and lots of uncorrectables over a few day period

you have bad or too many splitters or damaged/ wet coax...

Modem must be on no or the first 2 way splitter, Also, something is corroded or loose allowing LMR (Land mobile radio trunking) in causing ingress on some channels

Re: McKinney Connection drops and lots of uncorrectables over a few day period

TWC came out and replaced my one and only splitter,  the modem is on the first outlet on the PPC amp.  Tech was out and cliped the stinggers and tigtened all the coax with a tool stressed how important it is that the connection is tight.   any other ideas you might think of  I've done nothing insite, this is new in the past 2-3 months.

Re: McKinney Connection drops and lots of uncorrectables over a few day period

What model amplifier? why is there a splitter after the amp, or is it a power inserter?

Re: McKinney Connection drops and lots of uncorrectables over a few day period

Amp is a  PPC EV-019 U/U  and the modem is plugged into the correct modem/data port the others are all being used by TV

Re: McKinney Connection drops and lots of uncorrectables over a few day period

I don't like those levels... Are you in a house and is wiring overhead? this looks like wet coax

When or why was  was this amp added?

How is the wall wart power supply connected?

Is modem a phone combo one?

 how many cable boxes?

Re: McKinney Connection drops and lots of uncorrectables over a few day period

No overhead wiring, 3 cable boxes 2 Digital adapters.   What is wet cable? laterally wet cable?   Also what do you think about grounding?  I'm reading some stuff about grounding do these levels indicate possible grounding problem or no?    Its just recent in the past 3 months that this has happend so im not convinced that its inside the house.

ahh to your question on the powered amp I dont know why they installed it i use to have just a 9 way splitter and it seemed to work just fine. now they say they dont use those anymore.  I call them dumb splitters just because they are simmple boxes just like a network switch is"dumb" but a router is "smart"   So i call the power amp "smart"   but in short they made that switch when i was not home supervising so its what i have now.

Re: McKinney Connection drops and lots of uncorrectables over a few day period

I suspect the underground cable or tap off at the street is bad. What was there before the amp, just an 8 way splitter?

Need to know where & how the power adapter is connected, I can get you 3.5 dB better signal at the modem to see if that helps.. Do you have TWC phone and if so, does the modem have a backup battery in it?
