WHO TOLD YOU THAT?      That's funny because the TWC techs see "red" if it's  +10.0  or higher  or below -10, The modems don't work at -15 unless you have a lab quality connection, not common out here in the real world

Unfortunately I didn't write down her name. I had pointed that out to her that the 11.5 is higher that it should be so that's when she said the spec was -15 to + 15.
Could this be causing the upload speeds to fluctuate? When the upload speeds go down the game play sucks. The download speeds stay pretty consistent between 45 and 60.

Game played horribly last night.  The latency/lag was very noticeable.

 

Pretty much frustrated with the service.

 

Do I have TWC replace the modem?

I'm a fellow Black Ops 3 player on Xbox 1 and one thing I usually check at the lobby screen is to press the start key, then go to options, then Network. Next I'll check the Geographical Location and since the merger announcement, I've been connecting to Call of Duty servers in Florida instead of Texas where I live. I've still been able to play it without any problems at times but I do notice a slight lag here and there.

The correcteds aren't bad for the total byte count, good luck to get twc to troubleshoot much less fix this.

They darn well know +11.5 is in the yellow if not red zone...

 It's not a modem issue, A different modem may be worst, esp the technicolors that don't have a corrected/uncorrected screen...Robot Mad

I on the 200/20 tier. I remember you saying that you might switch to Uverse which might give you more lag and latency overall. Uverse uses an interleaved protocol for their ADSL & VDSL lines and isn't optimum for online gaming. I thought about switching myself but decide to see if things will get better after this merger stuff has settled.

Thank you for the information about Uverse.  We sure don't need the online game play to get worse.  We'll stick with TWC for right now.  I'll continue to call them to see if they can troubleshoot and fix the issue.  I hope the merger is good for TWC.

MsRaye....thank you for the information about the modem.  Definitely don't want it to get worse.  I'll contact TWC technical support and see if there's anything they can troubleshoot to solve the issue.
