I have already called spectrum about a month ago with this same problem. They sent someone who supposedly fixed the internet. Whenever I run a speed test I consitently get between 7-8 mbps and sometimes even lower than that. I am starting to think spectrum just doesn't care anymore because there's hardly any competition in my area. I have tried updating my router and my modem with no results. Any help would be appreciated.
Also, are you testing wired or wireless and from modem or router? What devices? Does the problem present constantly or is it intermittent?

Unfortunately sometimes it can take multiple visits to isolate the issue. Are you seeing this speed on wireless and hardwired to the modem? Are you seeing this speed on all of the devices on the network?
