Modems don't change to daylight savings time. A one hour clock offset is normal most of the year. Anything else will cause severe problems.
Sorry to hijack the thread but is there a reason modem clock if off by 1 hr? I'm in PDT and my modem displays AKDT.
Yes, as I explained before, "Modems don't change to daylight savings time." The network's CMTS hardware and all cable system modem clocks remain on standard time year round. The boxes never switch internally to daylight savings time. Only the set-top box clock displays change twice a year, on command from the head-end.
