Check the signal levels again in a couple hours.. Don't reset the modem.. I expect to see high correcteds/ uncorrecteds on a couple channels

Will do, What austin issue were you talking about, I do live in the austin area, Also I live in an apartment complex and I self-installed. (Just plugged it into the wall and it was good to go after calling TWC to activate)

Make sure all runs are terminated (assuming you have more than one wall jack and likely a splitter) or, better still, remove splitter(s), if possible.

I'm quite curious about the approximately 4 dBmV dip/reduction in signal power around the 500 MHz.  Keep an eye on that (the 495 MHz and 501 MHz channels/frequencies) please, especially if it becomes a pattern (certain times of day, matching what you are seeing for problems), then it's worth investigating that further.

My postings on this site are my own, off-the-clock, and don’t necessarily represent TWC’s/Charter's strategies or opinions.

OK, if that is good and you're talking about lag spikes, then let's see some tracerts to destinations where you're having problems.

So we're clear, what exactly do you mean by "lag spikes"?  That means different things to different people in different contexts.

Ok, I'd be happy to do tracers if you just tell me what to do Smiley Very Happy,
By lag spikes I mean, Every night generally starting around 4-5PM CT I begin to have an increase in Ping throughout every game/program I use. Generally it ends around midnight. And Then It's back to normal. My assumption has been that it's related to Peak hours however I have 4 ports on my router and while I was experiencing some minor lag after midnight I changed from the 1st port to the 3rd and my ping went down a bit.  Thanks for any help!
