[Dallas, TX] Bad node, packet loss

This has been occurring for about 2 weeks now. This wired, etc. Looks to be upstream of me and not at my house.

Re: [Dallas, TX] Bad node, packet loss

Hi Johnny,

  • What services do you have from Spectrum?  Cable TV?  Phone? Internet?
  • What services are not functioning properly?  For example, do you have a pixilated picture? Is your Spectrum Voice Service (Phone) dropping  calls? Is your Internet speed fluctuating?
  • If services are being lost, is it happening during a specific time of day or night?  Or totally at random?

Re: [Dallas, TX] Bad node, packet loss

It's Spectrum Internet in Dallas, TX. And there is packet loss on that node at all times of day. Please see the pictures I attached. They explain which node of spectrums is having problems. It has been having 5-10% packet loss as well as massive ping spikes for over 2  weeks now. Again please see the attached screenshots. Please forward them to the correct network team.

Either this post or my call seems to have gotten through to the right person as the node is no longer dropping packets after 2 weeks of doing it non-stop. You may close the post.
