Hello all.
I posted a couple weeks ago about daily T4 timeouts that I have been having for a few months now. It was suggested I buy a splitter with a termination port so I purchased and installed those. The signal didn't drop for about 4 days but then one night my download slowed down greatly and I had to reset the modem. After that, the signal doesn't last for more than a day now. Also, the modem is a year old Arris SB6141 modem that I own.

Based on the uncorrectable error counts, it looks like broadcast ingress on your modem's home DS channel 10. If you include your ZIP Code we can find out if there is a local TV station on channel 21, the most likely cause.
Check that all connectors are tight and shiny, including the back side of any wall plates. Be sure any jumper cables are newer RG-6QS with compression connectors, NOT crimped type, molded plastic, or screw-ons. Do you have any cables running to rooms with wall plates that don't have a device connected to them? Disconnect them from the splitter and put a 75 ohm terminator on the empty splitter connection., or you can just put the terminator on the wall plate.
My zip code is 29710.
The splitter I installed only has the main TWC line going into "IN" and the only "OUT" connected is one to the modem. The other one has a 75 ohm terminator screw. So I should go around the house and put terminators on all of the unused wall ports?
Also, inside the box outside there is a good bit of coiled up cable line inside the box that is not hooked to anything. Should I remove that excess cable? I doubt I'll ever have more than one connection.
I also don't have cable but I do have antenna but the issue was happening before I installed that.

Levels are ok, don't remove the splitter. Without it there could be too much on the DS side
But, make sure all connectors are a tad more than finger tight, including the back side of wall plates. any corroded connecters are bad as well, where much ingress originates as well as lines thryu trees that the rodents chew up.
Okay. I'll make sure the wall plug is secured. Quick question, though. Why did Channel ID 16 change to 26 (below)? The unccorectables tripled as well. That indicative of a problem? No net drops yet today, though.

You indeed are having a broadcast TV ingress issue and the difference between the lowest and highest channel is well over the modems maximum acceptance bandwidth of 96 mHz and probably severely impaired intermediate channels.
Something is corroded or loose, probably the outside line, either at the pole, grounding block or tree rodemnt chewed in trees.
If you don't foind anything, TWC needs to come out and replace the outside stuff, especially if it's more than 5 years old

Well I moved into the house in May of this year and they laid a brand new line to the house since it wasn't wired for Spectrum. So that may rule out a chewed cable. I will check behind my wall port and a verify corrosion/loose connection.
Just for my knowledge, could you explain what part of the signal page shows where the maximum bandwidth is exceeded? Want to be able to explain as much as I can if need be. Thank you for the help so far.
subtract the lowest frequency from the highest.. If the number exceeds 90 mHz the modems 96 mHz acceptance bandwidth is exceeded.
Normally the modems are sent sequential channels with the first (home) channel being one of the 8 to ballance loading.
Problem is that ingress will kill a channel and a new one is assigned, should be the next channel up unless there's ingress on it or the channel is overloaded.
Sorry but the 4 and 8 channel modems are obsolete on TWC/ Spectrum systems that have 24-32 channel DS channels now. The modems must be full bandwidth ones that accept 100-1000 mHz and not in seperate banks.
4ch modems were 36 mHz bandwidth and the 8 channels were 96 mHz bandwidth. But if there is a badly ingressed channel that is skipped between the listed and used ones, performance is also degraded.
It's not a bad modem but bad system maint by TWC and Spectrum.
The 8th ch (26) is impaired either by ingress or being too far from the other 7 channels and more than 96 mHz from the lowest channel.
Doing a factory reset will TEMPORARILY restore the modem to sequential channels untill yoiur ingress bumps off channels.
The ingress point(s) needs to be found and repaired
Your old ch 16 was on 549 mHz which is broadcast TV channel 27 .. What's your zip code? I can see if there's a 27 or 28 in your area with a strong signal.
609 Mhz is TV ch 37. But it's sort of unused by TV ( https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Channel_37) has low power hospital telemetry on it like those wireless EKG patient monitors. If it has ingress, it either them or broadcast TV channels 36-38 . You'd need a 32 ch cable modem to track actual ingress since those don't seem to reassign bad channels.
