Hello all just came over to TWC from AT&T and need some help to determine if my SB6141 (owned not leased) is getting the proper up and down stream values. I am getting quite a few critical errors "No Ranging Response received - T3 time-out;CM-MAC=;CMTS-MAC=;CM-QOS=1.1;CM-VER=3.0;" in the log file and not sure what it means. We experience some slowness on and off and not sure if this is related.
This type of information is new to me and not sure if I have a problem with the modem or TWC connections.

Cable was installed around 2-3 years ago by TWC when I first moved in then we switched to ATT shortly after. Zip code is 27455.
What values are you looking at to say there is ingress? We only have internet connection with TWC, no TV, Phone, or other services, only internet.
Sorry but something is corroded or loose or has a bad connector on it or theres splitters with open ports, 5 out of 6 skipped channels have local tv transmitters on them, ch 29,30,31,32,33,36.
How much of the TWC coax did AT&T use? The TWC modem must be direct connected to the outside grounding block, no splitters, doublecheck that line.
AT&T put in there own line so they did not touch the TWC line originally put in. The modem is connected to the main line and there are no splitters in my house.
Could you explain how you come to the conclusion something is corroded or looese or has bad connectors? What values in the information I posted is leading you to that conclusion? I am trying to understand myself what the figures mean but need users like you to explain it to me.
skipped channels and wide variations in total to uncorrected bytes... indicate ingress and in your case broadcast tv...
