levels are bad.... there should not be that bump//// the 26 dB s/n is horrible.

Yje right output side hardline looks awfull, is pitted, looks like it's been underwater.
The neighbors line splice and connectors are corroded and shoulda been replaced. The 22-17 tapoff plate above that shows corrosion on it's connectors... I'll bet the 2 hardline stingers are corroded and loose as well, also, this is probably duplicated every pedestal on your street.
possibly a chesed up underground hardline along the street, they need to have a COMPETENT bucket truck crew check levels at each pedestal and repair what's bad...
Connect to the test modem and paste it's levels... bet they're bad as well.
519 and 525 mHz are local tv channels 21 ,22,23,24.. bet there's the 2 middle ones...
TECH NEEDS TO USE A HANDHELD EGRESS TESTER AT EACH PEDESTAL TO DETERMINE AND FLAG ALL EGRESS POINTS AND HAVE THE BUCKET TRUCK CREW FIX THEM.. THOSE ARE ALSO THE INGRESS POINTS. THIS IS NOT A MODEM ISSUE NO MATTER WHAT THEY CLAIM.
Tech/Supervisor called in the last 30 minutes and said they've located noise/feedback coming from a house about 1/4 of a mile up the street from us. He's got an appointment with them in about four hours to check things out and look for loose fittings, etc. I'm remembering they also had yard work done there some months back, so maybe something got hit/dinged.
Nope, those are horrible and due to broadcast tv ingress...
this is too bad to be from a tapped off connection, I'll bet the hardline allong the street is trashed and affecting everyone, these guys can't troubleshoot a problem, don't have egress detectors to tell where ther is a problem.. The test modem is "bad" as well and on the same channels as yours, lol.

They're sending a bucket truck out tomorrow afternoon to check things out in front of our house. I sent the supervisor the link to this thread, and he's told me he's reviewed it. Certainly hope they can get to the bottom of this.
At least I have another option. I've been with TWC for too many years to count and don't want to switch, but AT&T brought fiber into our area earlier this year. The longer this goes on, the closer I get to spending another $10-20/mo and switching over to fiber. Of course, I have no idea if that would be better.
Also, when I spoke with the supervisor this evening he mentioned I should update the firmware on my SB6141. I'm not aware of any way to do that; I thought the only way to get that done was to have the service provider push it. My modem info is below. Any way to know if I have up-to-date firmware? Or does that even matter?
If my issues are being caused by a bad signal, I can't imagine a firmware update is going to help.

Firmware won't help, their test modem is showing bad levels as well.
Hopefully the bucket truck guys find and repair the bad connections. When I got one to torque down the connectors on a directional coupler a quarter mile downstream from me, My T3 errors went from one and more a day down to maybe one every couple weeks... I found that one looking for egress...
it fed a house way off the street that no longer had cable service and there was no way to call in the issue to twc because it was at an address that didn't have cable service...
