ARRIS SB6141 is rebooting randomly since an outage

Did all the troubleshooting. There was no issues uptil yesterday. This started happening after an outage was over. Technician is coming on Monday. Before that I am trying trying to see whether this is an issue with the 2 year old Modem. Thanks for help.

Sup?

Sounds like signal corruption affecting the modem.  You should avoid rebooting any boxes, modems, or routers for six hours prior to your appointment, to avoid a reset of the error code signals, so that the tech can see any fluctuating on the line.  Resets of equipment will put error codes back to zero, and you don't want that.

Re: ARRIS SB6141 is rebooting randomly since an outage

I do see that your modem reports only a single upstream channel transmitting at +57 dBmv where there should be four channels each transmitting at no more than +51.0 dBmV.  To link and bond channels for 100 Mbps DS (downstream), the SB6141 requires all four US channels to be working within spec.  I would suspect either the modem itself or a failed US line amplifier just upstream of your feed tap.

Although you may have purchased that modem from an on-line source in the last 24 months, the design is about ten years old and it strains to provide minimally adequate performance over today's encrypted digital cable backbones.  Consider upgrading soon to a newer unit that appears on Spectrum's list of devices approved for customer purchase and self-installation, or take advantage of their offer of a free modem and use your own already existing router.
