We first noticed that yesterday -- a rainy day in Albany, NY, when we decided to watch a movie. Much to our dismay, there was no longer a free movie channel with various options (e.g., Hallmark movies that had been shown at an earlier date on the Hallmark channel). For what we're paying per month, the free movies should be readily available.
UPDATE: After trying "chat" with no response, I called Spectrum.
If you go to On Demand (1000 here in Albany, NY) and choose "Networks," you can then choose the network in which you are interested.
In our case, we wanted free movies from Hallmark, FXM, etc. The downside is that you have to know which "networks" include free movies! Some of the "networks" are for TV shows, for example. But this is better than the mish-mosh of free movies and those for which you have to pay.
Hope this helps!
