I left Direct TV for Sprectrum due to better pricing with Spectrum. However, I do miss a great deal the 4K live sports that I had with Direct TV. They are currently broadcasting every World Cup game in 4K. The picture quality is far superior to HD. Is there any 4K Live Sports in the Future for Spectrm?
At this time we do not have any information about the future availability of 4K
broadcasts. We will certainly submit your interest in having sporting events broadcast
Have a great rest of the weekend!

I don't think Spectrum offers much of anything even in 1080p, much less 4k. Spectrum (and most every other cable provider) uses the limited bandwidth they have to offer faster and faster internet.
If you are streaming over the internet instead of viewing on digital cable, you can connect to 4K feeds of the most popular sports events, IF they are being streamed in the format you want at a price you are willing to pay. Just don't expect cable users to subsidize that for you.
I will as a Spectrum customer I have a 4k vizio 65 inch television in there P-series & would also like 4k on Spectrum Digital Cable. I will pay Spectrum to make 4k available to us customers. So that is not a problem for me to do
the only cable provider that i seen that has 4k. is rogers in canada. people that want 4k are better off with satellite. i know that dish and direct have been doing 4k programming here and there. and if you can pick up the locals where you live i think there going 4k sometime time but you'll need a 4k converter box for it also but they won't be compressed like cable and satellite.
buy a tivo bolt it's a darn good upscaler!!! the picture is so close to 4k i can't tell the difference between the two. since they do have the 4k tuners bult in!!! i stay with spectrum because of the new customer deal but after that who knows. iv'e been seeing 2160P 60 fps all evening over the old 1080I i got with there DVR. and if you buy a mini there's no second room fee
