When will you release a version for this popular device???
Here is a link to Devices Compatible for the Spectrum App. Currently only Samsung Smart TV's (2012-2016) are compatible. If new devices are added in the future, the link will be updated.

I have a 3rd generation Kindle Fire HD. When I try to get the spectrum app it says currently unavailable? DOes anybody know why this is not available to download? Thanks for any help.
Mine is working now. I contacted Amazon, and not sure what they did or if it was the both of them( Spectrum) working on it, but was able to download today
Loved watching TV on the app. Tried today and I get the "we're sorry, we're unable to play channel" X message for every station.
Any idea how to fix this?!
Thanks for the help!!!
I apologize for the service issues. Usually an error message indicates that the network is not being recognized. Have you tried deleting and reinstalling the app and restarting the modem?

Restarting the modem worked! THANKS!!
What's out there? Can I buy one of the prepaid phones that comes with NO free time and not activate the phone service at all?
It does not need to access TWCTV, just act as a terminal device on 2.4/5.8 gHz wireless /wifi, does not need any 4GLTE connectivity either.
It may need bluetooth connectivity, I don't have a good list of required options yet.
Yes. Lots of people buy a prepaid Android device, never activate it, and use it like a mini tablet. All should have BT. But double check to make sure whatever you're considering has both 2.4/5.8 gHz WiFi.
Thanks James for Re-Posting my post! It has worked for me and wanted to share it with everyone!
This worked for me on my LG G5!
-Uninstall "Spectrum TV App"
-Go to Play Store settings >Auto-Update Apps>Do not Auto-Update Apps
-Google Search "TWC TV Android App Apk"
-Click on TWC TV 220.127.116.11 apk download link
-Scroll down to bottom of page
-Download TWC TV 18.104.22.16812.release
-Go to your download folder and download apk file
-Disregard any "False Positive" message stating file may harm your android device
-Go to App drawer, click on TWC TV App, log in and enjoy watching Live TV again!
Hope this helps you out!
I'm re-posting your comments so I can mark it as a solution (original posts cannot be solutions). Thanks for sharing on the Forums! We appreciate you taking the time to share your solution.

For the third time this year, the app is no longer recognizing when I'm on my home network. The previous times it cleared up the next day but, this time it's been 3 days. The other times I did nothing. Today I have cycled the cable modem, access point and tablet with no impact.
Anybody else encounter this problem? Have you been able to resolve?
Figured out today. Charter/Spectrum is my provider at my summer home in Michigan. While the Charter TV is no longer installed on my tablet the credentials much be still stored. I logged out of the TWC app and noticed my Charter userid. I used my TWC credentials and I'm now able to access all channels again.
Sure would have been nice if Spectrum had a warning about this so I wouldn't have wasted so much time.
Works fine on iPad s7 edge and ZenPad 8s but ZenPad 3s 10 says unable to present CBS HD at this time try again later or try another channel. All channels say the same, on demand doesn't work either. Some DVR commands work
Problem solved. When I setup the new tablet, i had it auto configure and install apps based on what was on my phone. I did a factory reset and did not auto configure and installed the apps manually and the TWC app now works.
I have the recently (Sep 2016) released Kindle Fire HD8 tablet and loaded the TWC app. On certain channels (not all) the video will freeze after about one minute while the audio continues to play. On other channels there have been no issues, i have played it for 2 or more hours on some channels and it never froze. So it is definitely related to a channel, i tried uninstalling the app and reinstalled only to have the issue repeat itself.
Question, is this a Amazon issue or TWC issue, who develops the app and is responsible for fixing (given i can direct this to the department within these companies and actually get someone to do something about it)?
I just updated my router with a Dlink AC 1900 and the issue has resolved itself. I previously was using a Linksys E2000, older technology but it worked fine on most of my devices. But the new router has better performance and range and as an added bonus fixed this issue with some channels freezing on my Kindle Fire.
i have a android box and if i watch time warner via browser I can get a full screen on my tv... If i use the actual time warner app then i get a screen that's 75%-90% blacked out with the equivalent of an average modern 5"-6" cell phone display sitting in the center. Now the tv i was tryinhg to use was only 39" but it was extremely off putting. Are there any plans to add the ability to adjust app so that it display dynamicly depending on actual screen size. Dolphin, Chrome, and firefox browser offer a full scrren option, not to mention other video providers such as you tube.
