I do apologize for the issues. This is not something that can be disabled at this time. We can certainly forward up the feedback for the app.

On Aug 2nd, the Phone 2 Go app was updated. The update is mandatory for all customers, and if your phone did not allow an automatic update of that app you will both need to install the update from the app store. Notificiations are being sent to devices that are active and giving users a grace period that delays the update from installing, in your case for 22 days. If the grace period expires you will be logged out of the app and will not e able to continue using it until the update is installed.

I know for me my old account become disabled because I got a new account number and had to create a new time warner account on the website. If you call them they should be able to walk you through it or do it for you.
I apologize for the inconvenience and any confusion caused. We here, are not Time Warner Inc., and have no affiliation to that company. At this time, we may not have an agreement with them, to allow for the viewing of content in that manner on an application. I am not able to state if that will happen or anytime soon, honestly. I have not heard of anything of that becoming available, as provided by Time Warner Cable.
The application is no longer available for download and will be decommissioned
in the spring of this year. Customers currently using the Phone 2 Go application will
be able to continue using it until that time.
