if there was an update last night....what it did was.... it stopped my cameras from recording from midnight on. And my cameras are still unable to record. I can view live feeds just no recordings

I had the same problem. After hours of customer support w/ both TWC and Apple, I decided to do a itunes restore. It worked!!! My app is working as normal again!

Did anyone notice that the Portal did a download, and then an update last night?
This was about 9:00 PM EST.
I was about ready to arm the thing for the night, and I noticed the little "Squirly" thing "Meaning the unit was thinking". Walked to the unit, and it said it was downloading.
I am wondering,
1. if the system was armed, What would happen?
a. if someone broke in, would the system send out the alarm like it should?
b. if I were to attempt to arm the system, would it say "screw you, i cannot arm right now?
2. WHY were we as consumers not notified that there was going to be an update at that time?
3. What was included in that said update?
Was someone hacking into the "Secured" wifi system, and planted a "virus". LOL...
It does make a person think/wonder, esp. if we are paying TWC for services.

My cameras no longer work from the intelligent home app on my android after upgrade to new app.
Is there a way to get the old app back?
It worked with no problems.
I have two cameras (1 indoor and 1 outdoor) Indoor camera I can view from the app, the outdoor says error obtinaing image. show 1 current view- flashes then crashes the app.
Rebooted everything a number of time- uninstalled and reinstalled the app three times now- rebooting the phone inbetween as well.
Everything works fine from web-site portal- both local and while I'm away. Also works from the touch screen without issue.
Any help with a fix or a way to get the older version of the app back until a fix can be had, would be extremely helpful !
Recieved a call from TWC Tech today wanting to set-up an appointment to change out my Intelligent Home Router. I told him the Router is NOT the issue as everything works on Touch Screen, Web Portal and my wifes phone (Android 4.4) only problem is the app version 6.0.37 on my android 2.3 which is NOT Compatible viz crashing on my phone and as told by 2-TWC people android 4.0 is required although the requirement on Google store lists 2.2 or greater.
This is an App issue- and should be addressed by TWC app developers.
The tech said he will do some additional checking on how I can get the 5.1.37 version back (prior to the Sept 3 upgrade)
Luckily- What I did is drive over to visit a friend of mine who has Intelligent home also. Luckily He had not yet updated the app on his phone. After some arm twisting- we installed apk extractor on his phone and was able to e-mail the 5.1.37 apk to my phone.
I uninstalled the 6.0.37 crashing version from my phone. checked the setting to allow installation of non-market applications and successfully installed the old 5.1.37 version back on my phone!
And is now working as it did before....Problem solved...No thanks to TWC.
I now have the 5.1.37 apk file stored on my computer as back-up

(Still can't believe a simple issue like this- especially since TWC is a fault, couldn't more easily have been fixed)
