Thanks for the advice. I got in touch with the Forums Help and someone called me back on my phone and helped with my missing channels. He was very patient and explained in detail what the new change was going to be and worked on keeping my bill the same. I'm glad I was able to find this Forum that helped to resolve this issue.

About $186 for the package (I have phone as well) We need to call Europe and .01 a minute is pretty hard to pass up or I would have ditched the land line a long time ago..
Additionally it costs my wife's relatives less to call us on a land line vs. a cell.
Happy to share. I think the door swings both ways; I have had some less than fantastic experiences with TWC in the past. Glad to report having a better experience with Spectrum.
Why are we experiencing slower internet?
Why does the price continue to increase? If you already have a customer, doesn't it make sense to keep them at that promotional price rather than losing customers that you have already installed the cable for? (free) The cost for you to continue to provide a promotional price rate has got to be less than attracting new customers with the free installation and promotional price. Loyalty programs would increase your pulic image, which would increase new customers.

The problem is the tremendous costs of Cable TV programing. Notice how your Internet and Phone service costs stays about the same, with maybe only small increases most of the time. The problem is that TV programing, Spectrum, Direct TV, Dish Network, Cox, Comcast, all have to pay the channel provider for the right to carry the stations. The biggest increase each year is Sports Programing.
For years, providers have tried to work with networks to put Sports on an Ala Carte package, so that those who don't like Sports would not have to be burdended with the added costs. ESPN and all of it's sister channels are the most expensive networks. The problem is that Disney, which owns ABC and ESPN refuses to move those channels off of Standard Service, and onto say legacy TWC Sports Pass or Spectrum Gold level. If all ESPN stations were not a part of your cable service, your bill would go down about $25 a month!
Look at these athletes with their multi-million dollar salaries. Carrier of station has to pay the service provider the same way we as customers have to pay our monthly cable bills. Sports programing is the main culprit of these rate increases. The other problem is that live sports, and live news are not really available through other competitive services, such as Netflix or Apple TV. Every other medium has a way to watch movies, shows, and TV series, and this creates a problem for the cable providers in the wake of increased prices.
They try with bundling services and if a rented provided only did ala-carte pricing, subs would literally drop-dead at the cost of their monthly TV services! If your Cable, TV, Phone service bundled lets say is $230 a month, if that stuff was ala-carte, you would probably be paying at least $300. a month. No joke.
It is a challenge for many people in these trying times to see how TV services represent value as rates continue to increase each year. The other issue is simply inflation. The infrastructure may want to consider smaller priced packages. The catch is, will the host providers allow that to happen in the coming years? Where does a value for service begin? And where does it end? These are pressing questions for all TV rental program vendors, not just cable TV.
Infrastructure costs have gone up, there's only so many gigabytes you can cram thru a strand of fiber... As speeds go up so does the size of the pipeline and number of servers, nodes must be divided up to serve fewer subscribers, etc.

If you are making payments directly through your bank, it is my understanding that the bank processes your request to submit the payment by drafting a check to the payee. The process, yet similar with all financial institutions, may differ with each bank. I have a simliar process in place to make my car payment. One time I was running dangerously close to my due date and I contacted the bank to see when the payment would reach my loan office. I was informed that even though it was 4 days before my payment would be considered late, that I would be better off submitting the payment directly to the loan office. If you have not already done so, I recommend setting up a user profile to manage your account at https://myservices.timewarnercable.com/. You can always use this option as a back up if you prefer to continue making your payments through your bank.
