Forum Bug in Settings Preferences

Dear TWC,

There is a Forum Bug when going to the TWC Community Forum Settings Preferences.  When using the latest version of Firefox on Windows 10 and users try to log out from the My Settings Preferences page, a message appears that says, "The information on this page may be intercepted by a third party while in transit.  Do you want to continue?"  Even though the URL links bar at the top shows the secure encryption lock.  (Other versions of Windows and browsers may or may not apply.)  Please test.

Thank you for bringing this to our attention. Do you experience problems with other browsers as well?

Sent PM information as requested.  Community members note that this does not occur on IE 11.  Have not tested other browsers or Windows Operating Systems.  For now problem may be restricted to Firefox.  Mods have been notified.

Security Warning From Settings Page Trying to Log Out (Forum Update)

When trying to log out from My Settings page, I receive a message that "The Page is Not Encrypted and could be read by a third party."  This is on Firefox 47 (Windows 10.)

Go here to test in Firefox and try to Log Out:

@Satch

Thank you for bringing this to our attention. Do you get this when using an alternate browser?

Hi Julia,

Just tried on Windows 10 for both Microsoft Edge and IE 11 by copying and pasting the URL in each respective browser, logging in, and loggin out.  No, the security warning is not showing in either Microsoft Edge or IE 11.

Sounds like it may be a Firefox bug. We will pass this along.
