Re: Constant buffering issues

Per the log entries, You have a coaxial issue, some sort of upstream problem,

need to see  the signal LEVEL page....

It may be  down the street somewhere, not on your drop.

If that turns out to be the case, TWC/Spectrum will need to fix it.  After it is fixed, hopefully the TWCTV/SpectrumTV app will work better for you!

Re: Constant buffering issues

I have a feeling that TWCTV istrying to run in broadcast  (IPTV mode) and the errors are killing you since there's no error correction...

. The other services like amazon and netflix have actual error correction.

Re: Constant buffering issues

On further inspection, the issue I have is not on all channels.  Where I notice it most is on the local El Paso NBC channel (10/1203).  It is pretty bad.  The audio drops every few seconds and eventually gets badly out of sync.  I does not seem to matter how I access the app (PC, iPad, Roku) Wireless or wired.

Regarding coaxial issues..  this is a brand new house, so I was a little unfamiliar how it was wired.  I did, however, find that I had a 4-way splitter that ties the livingroom and the 3 bedrooms.  One of the bedrooms has no TV, so I am disconnecting that roo and replacing with a 3-way splitter.  I don't think that will make much difference, but every little bit helps.
