Last night 15 alerts occured between 8-11pm. This rendered it impossible to watch tv. This is very annoying and is happening more frequently. I began to notice the alerts about 2 weeks ago ... and every since the alerts have been occuring frequently (not weekly...more like every other day).... when will this be fixed????
TWC customers can get this resolved fastest by putting this issue on SOCIAL MEDIA and let the world know how TWC treats its paying customers, even with a ROKU.
They will do everything to get us to pay for those cheap cable boxes INCLUDING: adding the EMERGENCY ALERT SYSTEM in rotation 20 times over. We are too smart for those tactics.

Has anyone mentioned in all of this nonsense how UTTERLY RIDICULOUS this "planned testing" is to have happen after midnight when people are either in bed, going to bed, or perhaps some family members sleeping - this $%()**& baloney wakes up the whole house, makes the dogs bark - there is no excuse for something to be PLANNED like this!
I received a call from a TWC representative this morning. He seemed to be very knowledgeable and pleasant. They have identified the issue and are working on correcting it. It does require a configuration change on the TWC side within all the regional areas so it may take a little bit to get to all of them. I’m just glad it has been identified and a fix is in our near future.
Also as a note, There is a National EAS test (required by FCC) that they will need to do starting Wednesday September 28. I believe this was fallout from their preparation that has caused all our issues.
I had called Customer Service and they opened a specific Issue for my Account (not a system wide issue at that time) before the Admin here indicated they were on it. I've had the streaming on constantly for over 24 hours with no tests.
