Emergency Alert Broadcast- Weekly Tests!!!!

I am continually getting these overly annoying LOUD weekly tests!!!  They are making it to where I cannot even watch tv anymore.  The alert is fifty times louder than the volume  I adjust the tv to.  So when I am watching tv at night in bed I have been waking up my fiance.  Just in the amount of time I have been writing this message the alert has popped up twice.  I cannot handle this and will cancel my service if this continues.  No point of only having service for the Roku and not being able to use it.  PLEASE PLEASE FIX THIS!!   By the way, it just happened again and this time it caused an error message on the channel and now it's not working.  This happens about every three alerts.

Emergency Alert System (EAS) notifications on the TWC TV for Roku

Starting today we have activated the Emergency Alert System (EAS) notifications on the TWC TV for Roku platform. If an EAS alert is triggered by a local, state or other authority while a you are watching TWC TV on your Roku device, the video player will be interrupted with the emergency message and audio.

 

This will include weekly and monthly tests as required by law, just as they appear on set-top boxes today.

WEEKLY TEST

WEEKLY TESTS MY (edited)

Every ten FLIPPING MINUTES for an hour.
Get these bone heads together and do ONE TEST

TWC_COL2, TWC_COL5, TWC_COL3, TWC_COL7, TWC_COL6

Half an hour later this dummy had to do another one;  TWC_COL4

Agreed, Some of it's on TWC's control,,,, They have the EAS EAB alerting zones improperly assigned or programmed. Here in NEO, we get "tests" from 100 miles away. Our weather District is Cleveland and the bogus tests are coming in from Youngstown.

I'm getting EAS messages across my TV screen every 15-20 minutes today. Is this normal/necessary?

Im getting sick of these **bleep** things, I turned off the box as soon as one started..... guess what i went back to watch something else and they started an other alert and I could not hear the show I was watching it ruins the sound!

Is this annoying feature working properly? I'm in California and for the last two Sundays the EAS notification has been triggered at 11:35 PM, but the message states that it's a weekly test for some region in Kentucky at 2:35 AM.

I have gotten 5 of these alerts today at random times.  Extremely annoying.  I have the Roku Streaming stick
