Spectrum App on Smart Samsung TV

I just bought Samsung's new QLED 65in Q8 tv and the s\Spectrum app doesn't show the HD version of my available channels. On top of this, it crashes pretty often. All the other apps on this TV work flawlessly. Does anyone else have this problem?

There are other threads on this subject.  Not all Samsung TV's are Spectrum-App Compatible.  Samsung updates their software often, leaving older systems in the dust.  Spectrum doesn't develop their app software for 35 different Operating Systems.  And therein lay the trouble.  It's like asking a software developer to continue supporting DOS, OS/2, Windows9x, etc.   The app just isn't guaranteed to work on all TV's. 

 

I recommend you use a Roku instead (or an AppleTV - but not yet) to access the app.
