Live Chat is not working as of 7/31/2017 11:09 AM

Trying to figure out why my bill just went up $20.  Looks like my "promotional pricing" ended?  Never knew that I had "promotional pricing" in the first place.  When I went to Live Chat to inquire... it just keeps spinning and spinning or refreshes like I never clicked it.  Most likely is Spectrum (Time Warner) is receiving a high volume of inquires on this EXACT problem.

Anyone else having an issue with Live Chat or their "promotional pricing" ending?

Did you sign up or change something 1 year ago? If so the promo ended and you are now paying "list" price.. Don't bother trying to negotiate it down, they will transfer you to a spectrum account with faster internet speed possibly but with fewer cable channels and then a higher price because they didn't mention the taxes/fees and eqt rentals....

MsRaye,

Yes, I believe that I added TV & phone TimeWarner over a year ago (was already an Internet customer).  Not once do I remember them saying it was "promotional pricing" though.  Plus, in that time TimeWarner changed over to Spectrum.  I think this might be a tactic to screw customers (you were TWC and now you are Spectrum so pay up).  Maybe I should contact the BBB or FCC?

Your billing should break down what is in your bundle. You may see something like

Good Triple Play Premium 109.99 (this would be an example of a second year price)

Includes: Recurring Value Discount Starter TV, Standard TV, The Guide, HD-DVR Set-Top Box, Standard Internet, Home Phone National, HSD Discount, Telephone Discount, EPIX, Extreme Internet Upgrade, Voicemail, Video Discount

Good Triple Play Premium 89.99 (this would be an example of a first year price)

Includes: Recurring Value Discount Starter TV, Standard TV, The Guide, HD-DVR Set-Top Box, Standard Internet, Home Phone National, HSD Discount, Telephone Discount, EPIX, Extreme Internet Upgrade, Voicemail, Video Discount

Upgrades from one line of service into a bundle would be done at a promotional rate.

You would be able to see that on your billing.

You are not required to change to a Spectrum plan, you can remain on your current TWC package if you like. Your promotional offer expiration or rolling into the 2nd year price  has nothing to do with the change to Spectrum, simply similar timing.

If you have any questions about what options are available for you, you can call 1-800-892-4357 to discuss that with a specialist.
