I called customer service today and there was an update that had this feature enabled on the 15th and 16th, it has since been turned off due to now taking pictures or something correctly. I was told that some people liked the feature and some did not - my vote was for this feature and it made the cameras much more useful since I do not have the 24/7 recording option and have since learned that is no longer available. Hopefully they will get the camera motion open turned back on soon.
